Glossy Ibis Plegadis falcinellus Alkborough Flats, Lincolnshire, May - August 2021
This bird arrived on May 20th and is still present as of August 15th. It arrived as a 2cy, first-summer bird in dull pluymage but has now moulted into almost full adult plumage apart from the outer primaries and now looks very glossy and bright in good light.
