Great Snipe Gallinago media Kilnsea, East Yorkshire, September 2013
Spent the whole day with this brilliant bird but its tameness seemed to be its downfall when it was killed presumably by a local feline a day later. What a sad end for a superb bird but like the plastic strewn garden it frequented a poor indictment of the human race.
