Farne Islands June 24th and 25th 2010
A couple of days trip to target the Puffins and Arctic Terns on Staple Island and Inner Farne with KDD and JW. We picked a superb two days for weather and managed a few decent images. Mostly taken with the Canon 300 2.8 but also tried some wide angle shots with the Canon 24- 105 lens of the attacking Arctic Terns. Another place I keep meaning to go back to but a day trip for the Bridled Tern in July 2013 has so far been my only return trip. Shots of the Bridled Tern are in the Rare Birds gallery.
